All MIDI files on this product are General MIDI format. If you have a SoundBlaster audio card and the MIDI is not playing, go to the Control Panel in Windows and double click on MIDI Mapper. Under "SHOW" click on SETUP and set NAME to SB16 Ext FM.
Other SoundBlaster compatible audio cards may use a different name for the MIDI driver. To test if you have the correct MIDI driver setup, go to your audio card group (in Program Manager) and double click on the MIDI Ochestrator (if you do not have this program you can use Media Player) . Under FILE click on Open and open a MIDI file that is known to be in General MIDI format in the file name box. This will load in a General MIDI format midi file to test your MIDI Mapper settings. Change the MIDI driver under NAME until the midi file plays.
